Berlvis Credentials enters beta for structured bulk issuance

Berlvis Credentials is available in beta at credentials.berlvis.com, joining Books, Spaces and Tools in the Berlvis portfolio. The current release focuses on consistent bulk issuance rather than claiming independent verification of the underlying credential.

The problem it addresses

Institutions issue identity documents constantly, and almost always by hand. A school prints student cards from a design file. An employer types names into a template. A training provider assembles certificates one at a time in the week before a graduation.

Done that way, the document and the record drift apart. A name is misspelt on a card but correct on the register. A batch is reprinted and nobody can say which version is in circulation.

How the beta works

Credentials treats the supplied data as the source and the card or certificate as an output of it. An issuer uploads or pastes a list, chooses a design, and exports a print-ready batch in a single pass. Because the batch is generated from the supplied data, it is reproducible and internally consistent by construction.

That consistency does not prove that the source data is true, award a qualification or turn an unverified institutional record into an independently verified credential.

Current focus and boundary

The present work is making bulk issuance more predictable and reviewable before expanding into independent verification. Independent verification remains development work and is not generally available today.
